The Lund-based company announced on Monday that Health Canada had approved Oczyesa XR (octreotide) as maintenance treatment for adults with acromegaly who have previously responded to and tolerated treatment with somatostatin analogues.

Unlike treatments that require clinic visits, Oczyesa XR can be self-administered at home using an injection pen.
